“Were looking for jobs… we are from Boston Startup School… Just say hey…. I think I wanna hire you…” (Hire you by Matt and Kelly). The hiring fair which is being put on by our BSS Staff will be one of the best events BSS is hosting. This is where the students get to use the skills we have learned and find the right job for our skills, desires and needs. What are our skills? Each person from each track has different approaches to applying these skills and using them in a workplace. Finding the right job at the right startup is a difficult situation, especially when the job is at a startup. The hiring fair will expedite the hiring process by cutting out the startups that we find just aren’t a fit. Matching relationships and personalities to the company you’re going to be working for is very important and you really don’t want to mess it up. So this is why the hiring fair is going to be great. We skip the stack of resumes and jump right into the hiring process. Below is a list of things the students should hope to get out of the hiring fair and what my long term goals are within the hiring fair.
